Maged Darwish Ph.D. is currently the Vice president, Regulatory Affairs CMC, at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, where he has been instrumental in developing and implementing regulatory affairs CMC strategies across all Alnylam’s RNA interference therapeutics.

Prior to Alnylam, Dr. Darwish held the position of Executive Director, Global Regulatory Affairs, Biologics CMC at Merck, where he served as the Head of Keytruda franchise. Previously, he played a vital role in the submission and approval of multiple NDAs, BLAs and MAAs for innovative therapies and Combination Products during his tenure at leading pharmaceutical companies including Roche and Novartis while holding several executive domestic and international positions across different business units, including Research and Development, Quality and Drug Regulatory Affairs.

Dr. Darwish earned his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Seton Hall University, NJ.
