Executive Director of Business Development at SK pharmteco

Marc is currently Executive Director of Business Development at AMPAC Analytical, an SK pharmteco Company. AMPAC Analytical provide state of the art analytical services and solutions for the pharmaceutical industry. Before joining SK pharmteco, Marc was Global Product Manager for chiral and preparative chromatography products with Phenomenex (a Danaher Company). From 2004 to 2011, Marc was Director of Process Development at Bachem in Torrance, California where he led efforts to develop and produce peptide and oligonucleotides Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients. Prior to Bachem, Marc worked for various contract manufacturing organizations in the research, development and manufacturing of small molecules such as chiral amino acids and other complexes chiral building blocks.

Marc earned his Doctorate in Synthetic Organic Chemistry at the University of Montpellier, France in 1996 with an emphasis on asymmetric synthesis of amino acids and subsequently completed a postdoc at Texas A&M University under the supervision of Sir Derek Barton (Nobel Laureate 1969).
