Mr. Takuya Miyagawa is a Research Associate specializing in Process Chemistry at Sumitomo Chemical. He obtained his master's degree in organic chemistry from the Graduate School of Science, Osaka University, Japan (2009-2011). He began his career at Sumitomo Chemical in 2011, focusing on process development for small molecule pharmaceuticals. Since 2013, he has spent over a decade researching nucleic acids. During this time, he has gained extensive experience in developing long oligonucleotide synthesis, including gRNA, and scaling up to commercial scale under GMP.
