Thomas Rupp has been a leader in oligonucleotide manufacturing since 1985, when he established Europe’s first oligonucleotide synthesis facility at the German Cancer Research Center. He has contributed to DNA synthesizer development at EMBL, cancer research at Loyola University, and therapeutic oligonucleotide production at Innovir GmbH and Noxxon Pharma AG. He later served as a Global Field Application Specialist at GE Healthcare and as a CMC expert at Girindus Ltd. In 2013, he founded Thomas Rupp Consulting UG, and he now leads Axolabs Berlin GmbH as Managing Director.
