Tobias Kapp is the Global Head Peptide Development at Corden Pharma. In this role he oversees the development activities on all of Corden`s Peptide sites and works closely at the interface of development and scale up for all process stages for both solid phase and liquid phase processes. Additionally, he is involved in the evaluation and implementation of new and innovative technologies. He is an organic and peptide chemist by training and earned his PhD under the supervision of Prof. Kessler at the Technical University of Munich where he worked on the development and medicinal application of subtype selective peptide ligands for integrins and CXCR4. After his PhD he started his career in the peptide CDMO industry, where he worked in scale up development of up- and downstream SPPS processes hands on and later in different leadership roles.
