Current Role: Dr. Wiechert currently serves as a Clinical Account Executive at AcariaHealth Specialty Pharmacy, where she plays a pivotal role in tailoring and deploying clinical adherence programs for pharma clients.

Prior Roles at AcariaHealth: With a tenure spanning over seven years at AcariaHealth, Rachel has a diverse history with the organization. Her past roles include being the Director of Pharmacy at one of the specialty pharmacy sites in St. Louis and managing the Specialty Wholesale Distribution site. Her mission has consistently been to aid pharmaceutical partners in creating programs that directly address the challenges faced by patients with complex therapeutic needs.

Prior Experience: Rachel's journey into healthcare began with obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College, which led to a rewarding seven-year service in the Labor & Delivery unit at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis. Her transition from nursing to pharmacy was marked by her earning a Doctorate in Pharmacy from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville - School of Pharmacy, enriching her clinical expertise.

Current Focus: Today, Rachel leverages her diverse background to facilitate the smooth implementation of patient centered clinical programs for pharmaceutical clients. Beyond program development, Rachel contributes to the healthcare field through her involvement in real-world outcomes research, illuminating the impact of clinical programs and specialty pharmacy services through publications.

Personal Background: When she is not collaborating with clients in her role at AcariaHealth, Rachel is deeply rooted in her community near St. Louis, MO, where she enjoys time with her husband David, and their sons, Seth and Cole. Embracing her role as a sports mom, she is a regular at basketball, soccer, and baseball fields, cheering on her sons.
