Spencer Miller
Director, Market Access, Trade and Payer at Bayer


Spencer has been in the pharmaceutical business for over 23 years holding a variety of leadership roles including Sales, Marketing, Strategy, and Market Access. However, the last 10 years have been focused on Trade, Distribution Strategy, Payer Access within the larger Market Access footprint. Both his breadth and depth of his experiences result in signification contributions to the many companies he has worked for. He holds a BS from Grand Valley State University and a Master’s degree from the University of South Carolina as well as MBA coursework from the University of North Carolina’s, Keenan-Flagler school of business.

Spencer returned to Bayer in 2020 to the US Distribution Team working with a nuanced and varied portfolio that spans Specialty, Retail, Device, and Targeted medicines. His work focuses on the day to day business but also the strategic vision and implementation of the exciting portfolio Bayer has in development. Additionally, He spends time on the Payer/PBM team working with National and Regional Payers.

He currently resides in Columbia, SC with his wife and 3 pets. He has three children; 2 of whom attend the University of South Carolina while the third works as an Accountant studying for the CPA. Spencer enjoys golf, running and is an avid reader.
