Profile
Agustín Torroba holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics, a Master's degree in Energy from the University of Buenos Aires, and a Diploma in Energy Economics and Energy Planning. He also holds a Diploma in Renewable Energy and Storage Project Evaluation from the University of the Center for Macroeconomic Studies of Buenos Aires (UCEMA).
He served as an advisor to the former Ministry of Energy and Mining of Argentina and as the National Director of Biofuels. He is the author of specialized papers, books, and book chapters on biofuels and energy. Additionally, he is a guest lecturer at the University of Buenos Aires and Universidad Austral.
Currently, he is an International Specialist in Biofuels and Renewable Energy at the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA), a specialized institute of the Organization of American States (OAS), and the Technical and Executive Secretary of the Pan-American Coalition for Liquid Biofuels (CPBIO).
