Dr. Berit Foss is the Director of Sustainability at POET. In her role, she works with fellow POET Team Members, customers, vendors and stakeholders to implement POET’s sustainability goals and educates others on the positive impact sustainable bioproducts can have on our planet. Prior to her role in sustainability, she worked in regulatory and quality in the food, biofuel, and pharmaceutical space. In addition to her work experience, Berit has her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and earned her PhD in Biomedical Engineering with research focusing on biomaterials.
