Mario Garzón is an energy professional passionate about accelerating the green transition through innovation and collaboration.
At Novonesis, he helps guide strategic decisions that align the business with European goals for transport decarbonisation and sustainable agriculture.

Mario’s experience spans both the public and private sectors. He has advised governments on renewable energy policy with the Danish Energy Agency, shaped market development and regulatory strategy at Ørsted, and led business intelligence for offshore wind with Aegir Insights.

Originally from Madrid, he holds a Master’s in Sustainable Energy from the Technical University of Denmark, and has co-authored several scientific publications on renewable energy integration.
Mario continues to work at the crossroads of technology, regulation, and sustainability and will talk about how we can unlock the potential of advanced fuels with BioSolutions.
