Romain Fromanger graduated from INSA Toulouse, France with a PhD degree in Industrial Microbiology and Enzymology. The PhD degree was focused on Xylose Fermentation to produce Ethanol from Lignocellulosic substrates (Wheat straw) using a Fermentation parameter optimization approach. He first joined Maguin in 2009 as a Fermentation process Engineer working on the design and commissioning of new Bioethanol plants. Then in 2011 he worked at DSM Food Specialties as a Process Improvement manager for Enzyme production site of Seclin, France.
At Leaf since 2014, Romain joined as Technical Sales Manager Europe. Now, he holds a position as Industrial Fermentation Expert for Europe & Asia.
