Samuel Maubanc is Head of Regulatory and Public Affairs, EMEA, at Neste since August 2025, where he leads a team of advocacy experts on all relevant EU and national policies impacting renewable fuels. He was previously in charge of EU Affairs in 2021-2024, where he notably led Neste's strategy around the EU Fit-for-55 policy package. He has about 20 years of experience in strategic advocacy and government affairs, mostly in the transport, energy and sustainability fields. He held various leadership roles in trade associations, as Director General and as member of the board, and also spent about 5 years in the consulting business, advising clients in various sectors.
