The Spanish Bioethanol Association (Bio-E) is a national, independent and non-profit organisation representing the entire bioethanol value chain in Spain, including agricultural stakeholders, producers, technology providers, logistics operators and fuel distributors.

Bio-E acts as a platform to connect agriculture, industry and energy, promoting bioethanol as a sustainable solution for decarbonisation, rural development and resource efficiency. The association works to strengthen the role of renewable fuels in transport, contributing to emissions reduction, improved environmental performance and compliance with climate and energy targets.

The association engages with public authorities, industry stakeholders and international organisations to support the development of a stable and ambitious regulatory framework, foster innovation and encourage investment across the sector.
