Doreen Rice has been building and leading successful patient access and reimbursement programs for over 17 years. Currently serving as Director, Patient Assistance Programs within Access Services for AstraZeneca, with primary focus on leading AstraZeneca’s AZ&Me Prescription Savings Program.

Doreen began her career in the industry in 2005 with a 3rd party vendor organization as part of a Medicare Part D education team and has held various leadership roles across operations, program design/strategy, and client management. She has worked with several Top 10 pharmaceutical manufacturers in designing, implementing, and managing patient assistance programs and patient support programs. Doreen brought her passion for patients to AstraZeneca in November 2018. Since joining AZ, she has led several seamless program transitions while simultaneously, leading the implementation of a series of program improvements.

Doreen is a proud graduate of Morgan State University (HBCU) with a degree in Marketing.
