Michael Galarraga is a bilingual Spanish-speaking Licensed Professional Counselor, Board Certified Registered Art Therapist, Certified Substance Abuse Counselor, Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider, and Certified EMDR therapist. As a valued member of the OutCare Team, he brings a wealth of experience and expertise in mental health counseling and advocacy. With a career spanning diverse settings and populations, including residential treatment, acute inpatient care, community-based counseling, and non-profit programs, Michael has made a lasting impact on the lives of individuals and communities.

Currently based in Philadelphia, Michael operates a private practice that focuses on serving LGBTQIA+ Communities of Color. Being a member of these often marginalized communities himself, he creates a safe and inclusive therapeutic space where individuals can explore their mental health. Michael's unique blend of art therapy, EMDR, and traditional counseling skills helps individuals navigate their unique life experiences with empathy, support, equality, and humor.

When he's not dedicating his time to helping others, Michael enjoys spending quality moments with his husband and two adorable dogs, Lantern and Ariel. He finds joy in cooking, photography, going on hikes, and expressing his own creativity through artmaking. Through his compassionate work and personal pursuits, Michael continues to make a positive impact on the LGBTQ+ community and beyond
