PATZER ERDEN. Substrates Made in Germany.
For more than seven decades, standardized substrates based on Prof. Fruhstorfer's patented recipe have formed the basis for successful horticultural production of ornamental plants and shrubs, fruit and vegetables. We have been adding alternative substrate constituents to the tried and tested mixtures of peat and clay since the 1980s in order to take account of technical, economic and ecological developments in horticulture. Our own peat fields in Germany and in the Baltics help us to secure quality and availability.

These mixtures from our company have long been pioneering in terms of peat reduction and organic cultivation. That is why we have repackaged them under the PATZER ERDEN brand. There is already more to it today: e.g. mixtures with at least 50% peat replacement by volume or vegan fertilized substrates for organic cultivation. The tried and tested clay-peat mixtures are still available under the Einheitserde brand.

In addition to substrates for professional horticulture, our umbrella brand PATZER ERDEN also includes substrates for gardening and landscaping as well as retail soils for specialist retailers.
