Thore has more than 15 years of experience with drug development in oncology, immunology and Alzheimer’s Disease. He has advanced several novel therapeutic agents (antibodies, scaffolds, fusion proteins) from late stage discovery into pre-clinical and clinical development. While working mostly for early stage biotech companies he headed multiple managerial, strategic and developmental company roles. Thore obtained his PhD (Immunology) from the University of Toronto and received postdoctoral training in Jeff Leiden’s lab at the Harvard School of Public Health, Boston, MA. After his post-doc time he joined Lexigen Pharmaceuticals, Boston, MA, as a Senior Scientist in Immunology, followed by U3 Pharma, Munich, Germany (Senior Program Director), Complix NV, Ghent, Belgium (Head of Therapeutic Development) and currently works for Probiodrug AG, Halle (Saale), Germany as a Senior Project Manager.
