Eileen Gordon is the Secretary General of the European Coffee Federation (ECF), a position she has held since 2017. In this role, she leads the Brussels-based association representing over 90% of Europe’s coffee trade & industry, advocating on regulatory, sustainability, and trade matters at the EU and international levels.

With more than 20 years of experience in the coffee and tea sectors, Eileen previously served for 13 years as the Secretary General of the Spanish Coffee Federation, where she also headed the Spanish Tea and Herbal Infusions Association. Her background includes international trade development, including roles in food export and as a Trade Officer at the Spanish Embassy in Beijing, focused on building cross-border commercial relations.

Eileen is a regular speaker at global coffee industry events, where she shares insights on EU regulatory developments, sustainability frameworks, and supply chain dynamics. She holds a degree in Business and Economics from the Universidad Complutense of Madrid and has completed additional studies at the Copenhagen Business School.

Her work is driven by a commitment to supporting a sustainable and inclusive coffee sector, strengthening dialogue across the value chain, and ensuring the voice of the European coffee industry is heard in key policy discussions.
