Darius Šilenskis has a sound experience and knowledge in energy business sector.

D. Šilenskis has stepped in as KN CEO in 2019, before that he held various executive positions within the company. Prior to KN, D. Šilenskis worked in P.K.N. Orlen, biggest refining and downstream capital group in central Europe, also took executive positions in companies, belonging to Achema group, one of the biggest regional capital groups.

D. Šilenskis has an in-depth understanding and knowledge of energy sector and energy business field, understanding of regional and global energy markets, also competence of business development, is an experienced manager to coordinate business and strategic interests.

D. Šilenskis has a degree of Executive Master's in Business Administration (EMBA), MA in Business Management, MA in Law (International Maritime Law study programme).

Interests of D. Šilenskis cover energy sector transformation in the light of climate change and development of renewable energy sources, energy security and reliability of energy systems.
