Silvia Cotta Ramusino has an industry specialization in Payments and Open Banking.

She has developed most of her 15+ year professional career in the Financial Services practice of leading consulting firms. She contributed and led, with roles of increasing responsibility, in projects for the implementation of PSD, SEPA and PSD2 within the major Italian banks (Tier 1 and 2), especially in the field of Collections and Payments; her expertise embraces both Italian and European products, thanks to her involvement in international projects.

In 2017, she joined CRIF as a reference point for different competence centres to define new services and identify new opportunities in Open Banking for Europe, Asia Pacific and GCC regions.

She contributed to the foundation and the development of CRIF RealTime Ltd. and CRIF RealTime Ireland Ltd., companies based respectively in London and Dublin, through which CRIF became the first player in the credit information sector registered (in UK and Ireland) as an Account Information Service Provider (AISP) first and as Payment Initiation Service Provider (PISP) later, authorized to operate in 31 European countries.

She is involved in fintech scouting programs, in collaboration with several incubators, as well as a business mentor in acceleration programs for fintech; she is also speaker in industry events about Open Banking, Open Finance and related applications in different industries.

She is author and contributor to articles and reports about Payments and Open Banking, as well as member of judging panels for Banking and Payments awards.

She actually serves as Head of Corporate Marketing in CRIF.
