Bernd Nosse received his PhD degree in Organic Chemistry from the University of Regensburg (Germany) and completed a postdoctoral fellowship (Leopoldina fellow) in Chemistry at the University of California Irvine. Since joining Boehringer Ingelheim in 2006, he has held several positions in Research. Before joining Boehringer’s international Business Development and Licensing organization, Bernd Nosse was director of Medicinal Chemistry. Bernd currently acts as Global Head Business Development & Licensing for Research Beyond Borders as well as for Technologies for Boehringer Ingelheim's Research, Development and Translational Medicine.
