Claudia Blattner is VP & Head of Business Development at Immatics. She oversees all strategic partnering and licensing efforts. In her role, she led multiple significant and high-value collaboration and licensing transactions spanning various technology platforms and modalities in immune-oncology, including TCR bispecific engagers, cell therapy, cancer vaccines and various enabling technologies.

Claudia joined Immatics in 2015. Previously she held a position as consultant in a life sciences strategy consulting firm, where she focused on the generation of business insights and the development of strategic growth opportunities for Biotech and Pharma companies.

Claudia holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the Ludwig-Maximilians University Munich and spent several years at the Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, CA, USA conducting post-doctoral research aimed at the development of vaccines for HIV.
