Mr. Brakewood has served as Immuneering's Chief Business Officer since March 2023. Prior to Immuneering, Mr. Brakewood was employed by Regeneron Pharmaceuticals from December 2015 to December 2021, most recently as Vice President and head of a business unit for oncology, Covid-19 and new product planning. Before that, Mr. Brakewood was employed by Merck & Company, Inc. from 1989 to 1992, and again from 1994 to 2015, in a variety of commercial roles of increasing responsibility including strategic planning, business development, brand management and an oncology start-up venture. Mr. Brakewood holds an A.B. from Bowdoin College, an M.A. in physics from Dartmouth, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
