As a CEO, researcher and ambassador, Elizabeth has been combining her passion for research and innovation for the past seven years. Elizabeth completed her PhD at the University of Kent, where she was part of the Global Challenges Doctoral Centre (GCDC) group, researching antifungal targets for cryptococcal meningitis in HIV patients. She is now currently the CEO of ISOBiotech, an emerging Australian business at the heart of diagnostic innovation for infectious diseases, cancers, and genetic disroders. She contributes to the advancement and dissemination of scientific knowledge and awareness by engaging with diverse audiences and stakeholders. Elizabeth's goal is to advance infectious disease and cancer diagnostics and promote accessible deployment to under-resourced fields, and to inspire the next generation of clinicians, scientists and learners.
