Hannah Franklin, PhD, is an Associate at Biovance Capital. She is a British neuroscientist with a BSc in Biomedical Science and an MSc in Neuroscience from the University of Sussex. She worked in clinical research in movement disorders at UCLH and Queen Square Institute of Neurology prior to completing a PhD in Neuroscience at University College London, where her research focused on stem cell models of ALS.

She completed postdoctoral training at the Francis Crick Institute before moving into venture capital as an Investment Analyst at SCI Ventures, investing in modality-agnostic therapies for spinal cord injury. Hannah joined Biovance Capital in 2025, where she works across early-stage therapeutic investments. She recently relocated from London to Lisbon.
