John Prista Freshley is a high-energy entrepreneur, company builder and leader with 20+ years’ experience co-founding and/or leading 10+ early-stage bioscience companies, where he has worked along world-class scientists, expert drug/product development teams and global key opinion leaders to make breakthrough impacts on human health and society.

In 2019, John co-founded Bioscience Navigators, a social-purpose venture studio dedicated to the early translational and commercial development of breakthrough science in Michigan and Portugal, both places with limited capital and management experience compared to traditional biotech hubs. While continuing to oversee Bioscience Navigators, his current focus is serving as CEO of portfolio company, Curio Genomics.
