Lubor Gaal is currently CFO and Head of BD for Circio Holding ASA and helped to reposition the company using its proprietary circular RNA platform to address the major issues of gene therapy. Before Circio, he was Managing Director for Locust Walk (London and Barcelona) and responsible for the entire European business spanning from strategic consulting to licensing or M&A and financings for a large number of European biotech and pharma companies.

Lubor Gaal has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry having worked in senior management positions at Neuro3d (CNS, France) and vectron therapeutics (Oncology, Germany) as well as senior BD positions at Bayer (CNS and CV, NJ, US), Bristol-Myers Squibb (Head of Europe, CNS, Fibrosis, UK/USA) and Almirall (Global Head of BD and External Innovation, Barcelona, Spain).

He received his Ph.D. from the University of Berkeley in California and his B.Sc. from the University of Sussex, UK.
