Nuno Prego Ramos is the founder and CEO of Valvian, a Portugal-based biotechnology company developing next-generation therapies in oncology and age related diseases. His career spans executive leadership, scientific innovation and entrepreneurship, with deep experience in biologics and cell therapies.

Before founding Valvian, he created CellmAbs, a pioneering biotech company whose proprietary technology was acquired by BioNTech in a landmark agreement.

Today, Nuno leads an integrated strategy that brings together cutting-edge science, advanced manufacturing and artificial intelligence to accelerate the translation of discoveries into meaningful clinical solutions.

Through strategic collaborations with leading national and international institutions, he aims to position Portugal as an emerging centre of excellence in biotechnology, connecting research, clinical development and industrial capacity.
