Dr. Olga Nissan is Vice President of Business Development at Evogene, where she leads pharma partnerships and strategic collaborations for the company’s ChemPass AI generative chemistry platform. She brings extensive experience at the intersection of biotechnology innovation, pharmaceutical engagement, and commercial strategy. Prior to joining Evogene, Dr. Nissan served as Co-Founder and CEO of Protica Bio, a precision oncology company, where she led technology development, clinical collaborations, and pharma-focused BD efforts. Earlier in her career, she held roles at EcoPhage and at Teva Pharmaceutical Industries supporting both scientific and operational programs. Dr. Nissan has a proven track record in advancing technologies from early research through clinical and commercial collaboration stages and in building partnerships that align scientific capabilities with pharma needs. She completed her Ph.D. and postdoctoral research at the Weizmann Institute of Science.
