Patrick serves as Senior Director Global Strategic BD at Rentschler Biopharma SE. His team manages strategic projects, proposal preparation and global capacity allocation for all clients of Rentschler Biopharma. In addition, Patrick works on and oversees global deals, key account management, contract negotiations for all therapeutic areas in Rentschler Biopharma’s protein business and is responsible for setting up and managing long-term partnerships with clients and strategic partners, such as Vetter Pharma.

Following his studies in forensics, molecular biology and a PhD in molecular medicine from the Ulm University, Patrick has now worked in the biopharmaceutical industry for more than 7 years.

Patrick has been, and still is, directly negotiating numerous deals covering all aspects of Rentschler Biopharma’s CDMO service portfolio, ranging from early phase clinical development to late phase PPQ/commercialization projects as well as strategic projects like the Covid-19 collaboration with BioNTech.
