Sue Yao is the Co-Head of Licensing and Business Development at Kelun Biotech and Klus Pharma. Serving in this role since November 202, Sue leads Kelun’s business development and strategic partnership origination and negotiation, including the multi-asset MSD collaboration with the lead ADC program in 16+ global phase 3 studies, a NewCo partnership with SwissCo Windward over the TSLP program in ph2 global development, and the latest, novel two-way licensing transaction with Crescent Biopharma.

Before joining Kelun-Biotech, Sue lead out- and in-licensing and business development activities at various organizations including Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Purdue Pharma. Before her career as a biopharma business development professional, Sue was an investment banker at UBS and Goldman Sachs.

Sue grew up in China and holds a BA in English from Peking University, MPH from Yale University and an MBA from the Ross School of Business at University of Michigan. Sue is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
