Shiliang Hu is Senior Scientist of Vector Development and Operations at Alexion Pharmaceuticals. his team is focusing on plasmid optimization and cell line engineering to increase the yield of AAV production. he is also working on capsid engineering to improve the properties of the capsids. Dr. Shiliang was trained in Molecular Biology. He got his doctorate from Integrative Biology department of Trento University (Italy), He held a postdoctoral position at Umass Chan medical school studying AAV based gene therapy.
