Deepti Tanjore is motivated by reducing the empirical nature of bioprocess experiments using AI. Having scaled-up bioprocesses for over 25 companies at a contract scale-up facility, Deepti noticed early on that biomanufacturing 4.0 and self-driving ambitions are hindered by the lack of context that is obtained through qualitative observations, images, videos, etc. She co-founded enScale Bio to be the off-the-shelf software available to researchers in industry and academia to collect AI-ready datasets and many other AI-based scale-up solutions. Deepti has a PhD in Biological Engineering from Penn State University and an MBA from UC Berkeley Haas School of Business
