Joseph (Joe) Pekny, Ph. D. is a Professor of Chemical Engineering at Purdue University and Co-Founder of Advanced Process Combinatorics, Inc. Dr. Pekny has researched process modeling, Digital Twins, planning and scheduling, supply chain optimization, and engineering analysis/design of Biopharmaceutical Processes for nearly 30 years. Dr. Pekny was a founding Director of Discovery Park and the Regenstrief Center for Healthcare Engineering. He has had numerous leadership roles at Purdue involving entrepreneurship, innovation, and startup of new activities. Dr. Pekny is a pioneer in algorithm engineering and using mathematical models to mitigate complexity and improve the productivity of manufacturing processes.
