Profile
Kara Levine has been part of MilliporeSigma’s Life Science business for more than 14 years in various roles. She currently leads a team of scientists & engineers advancing tools and processes for production of immunotherapies (CAR T, NK ) and mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs). In this role she is responsible for providing expertise in process development, cell culture media formulation, and analytics to drive applications and product development projects in the novel modalities space. Kara earned her Ph.D. from the UMASS Chan Medical School in the fields of biochemistry and cell biology, with a focus on understanding the protein structure function relationship amongst membrane uniporters.
