Larry FormanCEO at CHO PLUSSpeaker
Profile
Larry Forman is a biologist by training. He started in academic research at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York where he worked on colony-stimulation factors. Larry worked at Genentech from 1980-1996 where his focus was mammalian cell culture process development, and related activities. After leaving Genentech, and living in France for a bit, Larry worked directly or indirectly for companies involved with production of human therapeutic proteins via mammalian cell culture. In 2014 Larry founded CHO Plus to (finally, and successfully) develop cell-engineering methods for vastly increasing the specific productivity of mammalian cells for recombinant therapeutic protein manufacturing.
