Tyler Brown serves as the founder, chair and president of OUTbio San Diego, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit empowering LGBTQ+ professionals in the life sciences through networking, education, advocacy and peer support. With over a decade of experience, he is passionate about early stage innovation, entrepreneurship and advancing DE&I in the industry. He co-founded i2o Therapeutics, a startup pioneering next-generation oral biologics, and is the senior director of technology and business development. Tyler also serves as the Drug Delivery Chair for the Boulder Peptide Symposium. He holds a Ph.D. in bioengineering from Harvard and an M.S. in biochemistry and molecular biology from University of California, Santa Barbara.
