Dr. Veena Warikoo currently serves as the Vice President of Global Technical Operations within Biologics Operations at AstraZeneca. She leads a global team of scientists and engineers who are innovating to enable sustainable supply of medicines to our patients at the right scale, with the right technology, and at the right time for proven modalities such as vaccines and monoclonal antibodies, and newer modalities such as T-cell engagers, Radioconjugates, and Antibody Drug Conjugates. Prior to joining AstraZeneca, she worked for 25 years in Biopharmaceutical industry, written multiple significant publications, innovated on leading edge manufacturing technologies and led implementation of those technologies to benefit the patient access to critical medicines. Most recently, she is the 2022 award winner for “Integrated Continuous Biomanufacturing” by ECI and “2024 Reuters trailblazing women in supply chain”.
