Yashas holds a B.E. from India, an M.S. from Stockholm, and a Ph.D. from EPFL in Lausanne, where he studied recombinant protein expression under Prof. Florian Wurm. He spent nearly five years at Eli Lilly focusing on discovery protein expression. Since joining Denali Therapeutics in 2018, Yashas has led cell line development as well as upstream process development for complex biologics, spanning both early and late stage of the pipeline.
