Adam Goldstein is the Sr. Director of Research and Development Collaborations at Thermo Fisher Scientific, leading a team to drive innovation and collaboration within the larger organization. Throughout his professional career, Adam has been involved and managed biopharma facility startups a at Baxter, Biogen, Amgen, GenVie, Genentech Clinical and Thermo Fisher. He is known as an expert in systems and process design that help control costs, while focusing on sustainability. His experience bridges early-stage Research and Development as well as large scale late-stage development / commercial operations. His work has included Bacterial, Mammalian, Adenovirus, Yeast, and human derived materials. Author / inventor for several patents utilizing downstream processing techniques to purify novel proteins. Adam has lectured on the professional Chromatography circuit as well as at several colleges on Chromatographic techniques and scale up. Adam earned his B.S. in Immunology from Old Dominion University, Norfolk, VA, as well as a Biochemical Regulatory Engineering certificate, cGMP practices from the University of Maryland. He holds a Masters in Biomedical Sciences/Molecular Biology from Hood College, Frederick, MD
