David Kentner is a Principal Scientist at the Cell Line Screening and Development (CLSD) unit at the Biologics Research Center (BRC) at Novartis. Before joining Novartis in 2015, David did a PhD at the University of Heidelberg (working on bacterial signaling pathways) and worked as a Postdoc at the Biocenter in Basel (investigating metabolic aspects of infection). In his current role, David manages the whole span of cell line activities, from early research and candidate profiling, to the generation of high producer cell lines for manufacturing, and finally supporting the characterization of cell banks.
