In 2018, Fiammetta Di Marco obtained her Master Degree in Chemistry at University of Pisa, Italy. In 2023, She obtained her PhD Degree in Analytical Chemistry at University of Salzburg, Austria scrutinizing the chemical complexity of different glycoprotein-based biopharmaceuticals.

Currently, she is a postdoctoral researcher at the Center of Proteomics and Metabolomics at LUMC in Leiden, The Netherlands and her research focuses in the development of novel analytical methods involving HPLC-MS approaches to study complex (glyco)proteins in biopharmaceuticals for the in-depth characterization of their proteoforms.
