Ishmael Ordonez, PhD, R&D Manager of Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) services leads his team in collaboration with users in the biopharmaceutical industry to develop more user-friendly preparation methods for cell culture media. Dr. Ordonez earned his BS degree in chemistry from McGill University and his PhD degree in chemistry from Concordia University. Following his doctoral studies, he completed postdoctoral fellowships at Texas Tech University in the Physics Department and University of Southern California at the Institute for Toxicology. Prior to joining FUJIFILM Irvine Scientific, Dr. Ordonez worked for 20 years in quality, product development, and technical operations across the pharmaceutical, cement, and alcoholic beverage industries.
