Dr. Silvia Lecci is a Team Leader in the Synthetic and Mammalian Upstream team at CPI, specialising in the area of synthetic RNA production. She is leading projects based on the optimisation of in vitro transcription platforms for the production of novel RNA-based therapeutics using design of experiment approaches to process optimisation and scale up. Prior to joining CPI in 2022, Silvia was part of the NHS workforce as a Senior Scientist, where she coordinated the Covid-19 variant screening for the North East of England. Silvia holds a PhD in Molecular Medicine from Newcastle University.
