Vittoria Carraro is a Policy officer at the European Commission working in the Biotech task force responsible for drafting the EU Biotech Act and part of the policy strategy unit in DG SANTE. Vittoria previously contributed to the implementation of Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan, in particular working on projects on cancer personalised medicine, patients’ quality of life, and centers of excellence. Before joining the Commission, she had been working on innovation and health policies through her accumulated professional experience of 10 years, including with national and regional governmental institutions, non-profit organisations, pharmaceutical companies, and a global consultancy firm.
