Jason Aughey serves as the Senior Vice President of Sports Tourism for the Tampa Bay Sports Commission, where he oversees the organization’s sales and marketing strategies and leads efforts to attract and execute events of all sizes on behalf of the region. That portfolio includes marquee major events, as well as a distinguished roster of high-profile youth and amateur events, that generate significant economic impact for the destination. Now in his 21st year with the organization, Jason also represents Visit Tampa Bay’s sports and entertainment interests. He holds a degree in Sport Management and Business from James Madison University, where he was recognized with the Outstanding Sport Management Major Award. Jason has also been honored by Connect Magazine as a “40 Under 40” inductee.
