Your Playbook for Human-Centric Advice
The notion of “human-centric” or “human-first” financial advice has quickly shifted from barely mentioned to seemingly omnipresent. Planning firms looking to successfully compete are investing in ways to better train their advisors and engage their clients through the lenses of behavioral finance, positive psychology, emotional intelligence, and other disciplines. An important movement is emerging, but until we operationalize the key concepts in human-centric planning, progress will be slow. Advisors can use this framework to empower their own professional development, firm-wide team building, and client engagement.

Recently, changes in the market have been affected by the risk that inflation will stay elevated for a much longer period of time. This development makes inflation linked assets and TIPS even more attractive because they offer diversification properties outside the usual 60/40 portfolio. With the Fed announcement touting the creation of the Bank Term Funding Program (BTFP), greater liquidity is provided to depository institutions. However, this doesn’t solve the inverted yield curve problem for banks. Inside this session, we’ll discuss the predictability of fed moves, bond yields, volatility, and inflation expectations as we evaluate the benefits of fixed income ETFs.
