With over a decade of experience with Technology startups, Innovation and venture building Magdalena scaled, from scratch, Barclays Fintech platform Rise, to a network of 700+ Fintechs. This enabled Barclays to invest and build partnerships with companies such as Cutover, Funding Xchange and Clausematch. Prior to Barclays she co-launched the London Co-Investment Fund, investing in 147 early-stage startups. Today’s roles include being an active Advisor, Angel Investor in startups and Co-Chairing UCL’s School of Management International Advisory Board. In 2012 she Co-Founded and ran GeekGirl Meetup UK for 5 years, also launching the community in Singapore. In London 330+ women came on stage to talk about Tech, startups and design. Promoting female role models across the Tech industry remains her absolute priority.
