Pedro Andrade has been dedicated to the advancement of Open Source since 2008, from his early days at MySQL Inc., transitioning through Sun Microsystems, now at Oracle.

As the MySQL Global Business Unit Lead for Financial Services, he works closely with some of the world’s largest financial institutions, facilitating digital transformation via open source and open standards. A native of Mexico City, Pedro lives in Manhattan - the world's financial capital - with his wife, 8 year old daughter, and cat - Pancho.
