Jon R. Briggs is the Head of KeyBank Commercial Product & Innovation for Key Commercial Bank. He is a member of KeyCorp’s Executive Council and Compliance Risk Committee.

In his current role, Jon is responsible for the strategy, development, and portfolio management activities of our commercial payments business including core treasury, commercial liquidity, commercial card, merchant services and foreign exchange. He is also responsible for Key’s commercial fintech partnership strategy, evaluating and establishing new fintech partnerships to accelerate Key’s roadmap and strategy.

Previously, Jon served as Head of Merchant Services, as well as CFO of KeyBank’s Commercial Payments Group. Prior to his time in the Payments Group, Jon was the Credit Portfolio Executive for the Community Bank and Enterprise Healthcare Portfolios.
Jon joined Key in 2008 as an accounting manager. He has held a range of leadership positions in finance and risk management, had has diverse set of expertise and experience spanning financial services.

Jon earned his B.A. and M.B.A in Accounting from Baldwin Wallace University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).
